An apple a day, keeps the doctor away. A chilled apple sauerkraut salad keeps hospital bills at bay.
Ingredients
- 1 apple, cut in small pieces
- 1/2 carrot, grated
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- ½ cup or 50 gm Apple Sauerkraut
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp raisins
Method
- Toast the walnuts for 2 minutes on medium flame till aromatic
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for few hours before serving
