Chilled Apple-Sauerkraut Salad

An apple a day, keeps the doctor away. A chilled apple sauerkraut salad keeps hospital bills at bay. 


Ingredients

  • 1 apple, cut in small pieces
  • 1/2 carrot, grated
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped 
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup or 50 gm Apple Sauerkraut
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp raisins

Method

  • Toast the walnuts for 2 minutes on medium flame till aromatic 
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for few hours before serving
