Ingredients (makes 4-5 brownies)
- 200g pitted dates
- 40g ground almonds
- 30g classic sauerkraut, finely chopped
- handful of walnuts
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Method
- Finely chop the sauerkraut on a chopping board
- In a mixer, add the dates, ground almonds, cacao powder. Process until the mixture is sticking together. Mix in the sauerkraut
- Place baking paper on a plate. Spread the brownie mix press to even it out. Once pressed, press walnuts pieces on top of the brownies
- Place in the fridge to allow the brownies to set for around 20-30 minutes. Remove from the fridge and cut into 4-5 squares
