Grain bowl = carbs+ proteins+vitamins+minerals
Grain bowl + probiotic Sauerkraut = everything our body needs!
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 2 tbsp classic Sauerkraut
- One cup millet
- 1 cup kidney beans, soaked overnight
- 1 cucumber, chopped into disks
- ½ cup bell peppers, chopped small
- ½ cup Tomatoes, chopped small
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil to cook millet with salt as per instructions on the pack
- Drain and cool millet for 2 hours
- Pressure cook kidney beans with little salt for 3 whistles, drain and cool
- Add cooked millet and kidney beans into a bowl. Add olive oil and mix
- Arrange the veggies and sauerkraut as you like to create a beautiful bowl
- Pour some almond/cashew butter or sauce of your choice
