How long it takes to reach you.
No cold chain. By design.
Our kits ship as dry components — spice mixes, jars, salts, ferment-boost prebiotics. The live bacteria are in the air around your kitchen and on the surface of the vegetables you'll add.
This means no refrigerated trucks, no "keep cold" stickers, no risk of failed cultures because a logistics partner left a box on a sunny dock for 6 hours.
The lone exceptions: dairy starters (yogurt, kefir cultures) ship in foil sachets at room temperature — they're freeze-dried and stable.

Edge cases
What happens when shipping doesn't go smoothly.
My order says delivered but I didn't receive it.
WhatsApp us within 48 hours of the "delivered" status. We file a courier investigation (usually returns the package or confirms loss within 5 working days). If lost, free reshipment.
My package is delayed past the estimated date.
Up to 3 working days past estimate is normal in India. Past that, message us — we'll escalate with the courier and either expedite or offer partial shipping refund.
I gave the wrong address. Can I change it?
Yes if it hasn't shipped — message us, we'll update before dispatch. After shipping, address changes are at the courier's discretion (sometimes possible for ₹50–100, sometimes not).
Can I refuse delivery and get a refund?
For COD orders: yes, courier returns to us, full refund (no reverse-ship cost since you didn't pay yet). For prepaid: also yes, but treat as a regular return (refund minus return-ship cost).
International order — do I pay customs?
Yes, on arrival in your country. We don't pre-pay customs because rates vary by destination and product category. UAE: typically ₹0 for fermentation kits. UK/US: ₹400–1,200 depending on order value. Singapore: usually ₹0.
